ConocoPhillips

International - provides process alignment and technology selection services focused on streamlining and automating best practices across the entire real estate and facilities management lifecycle. Developed the functional requirements and managed the execution of the RFP process. Provide ongoing process definition and advisory services.

Major Oil & Gas Company

International - Phase 1 activities included the development of an Information Strategy based on consistent global practices for their Global Real Estate and Facilities organization. Following the acceptance of the IT Strategy, phase 2 activities included the development of a detailed Request for Proposal and the definition of standardized, global business processes for all services identified in phase 1. In phase 3, eBusiness Strategies is developing detailed functional specifications to align their global processes with the capabilities of their selected Integrated Workplace Management Solution (IWMS).

First Data Corporation

International - served as industry analysts and process consultants for the creation of a business case in support of deploying new business processes and technology for this information management company. Assignments have included development of a Needs Assessment, Best Practice processes, RFP documents, demonstration scripts, and a Total Cost of Ownership model.

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey

Analyzed the current facilities management outsourcing program and provided recommendations for improving service while controlling costs. 

Nokia

Served as industry experts for the deployment of an Electronic Corporate Real Estate (eCRE) program within Nokia’s Workplace Resources organization. Assignments included: development of the Business Case; creation of best-of-class processes for space management, transaction management, customer service, project management and portfolio management; development of RFP documents for the selection of technology products; creation of business requirements and functional specifications; and project management guidance of the business-side activities.

Nortel Networks

International - served as the process and technology consultant to the Herman Miller Global Customer Solutions team in the development of the Business Case, functional specifications and an RFP, and the selection of a Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) application. Also completed two assignments focused on the economic benefits of transferring technology from inside Nortel to ownership by a confederation of outside service partners known collectively as Mercury. 

Chevron

International - The documentation of business processes and the development of detailed functional specifications, technical documents, testing support and formal training to align their selected Integrated Workplace Management Solution (IWMS) with industry best practices. 

GlaxoSmithKline

International - The development of a Technology Assessment in support of their global real estate portfolio. The purpose of this engagement is to provide GSK with an assessment of their current technology direction and deliver a roadmap for deploying a successful global information management solution. 

City of Houston - General Service Department

Developed a Needs Assessment for the identification of core functional requirements in support of the management of the city’s physical assets. Developed an RFP for the selection of an IWMS solution. Next phase includes the management of the implementation of the IWMS, standardization of business processes across the city and integration with the city’s SAP system.

Commonwealth of Virginia

In association with CB Richard Ellis Consulting, investigated current technology practices and systems for the Division of Engineering and Buildings. Services included evaluation of existing systems, definition of desired state requirements, execution of an RFI for new software and recommendations on staffing, systems and data integrity.

Denver Public Schools

DPS had initiated a technology initiative to support their real estate and facilities organization. As they progressed through their first phase deployment it became obvious to them that they needed to step back and better understand the business practices they were attempting to support with the new technology. eBusiness Strategies provided business process assessment services for 63 functional services and then provided a Gap Analysis between the existing project plan and the business process requirements. 

State of North Carolina

In association with CB Richard Ellis Consulting, investigated current technology practices and systems for the State Properties Office. Final deliverable included recommendations on staffing, systems and data integrity.

U.S. General Services Administration - Public Buildings Service(PBS), Washington, D.C.

Five Year Strategic Plan - Developed a 5-year strategic plan for the consolidation and upgrading of real estate inventory technology within the PBS under the direction of the PBS-CIO.

Knowledge Management Office - Facilitated development of 5-yr strategic plan incorporating Knowledge Mgmt processes within the PBS. Region 9 Strategic Plan – Facilitated, directed development of a 5-year strategic plan for the Region 9 PBS IT organization.

Marketing & Communications Plan - Created Marketing & Communications Plan to support Region 9 Strategic Plan.

Spatial Data Maintenance Processes – Performed process analysis and re-engineering services for creation of standardized Spatial Data Validation and Maintenance processes used in the measurement and on-going management of federal real estate. We then provided a follow-up customer survey of the effectiveness of the process and SDM initiative. Using the survey results, we conducted a series of interviews leading to enhanced/refined processes, definition of national standards, and standardized methods and measures. The last deliverable focused on development of a Business Case for the realignment of spatial data inventory management within the PBS.

Border Station Information Tracking System - Spurred by the consolidation of numerous border station services under new Department of Homeland Security, provided a post-implementation survey and review in support of next phase deployment strategies for this inter-agency portal.

eLease Initiative – Facilitated meetings and provided process engineering services to move the GSA’s national leasing program from paper to a fully electronic format. Provided business-level training on the eLease process to several regions.
